If you google the electrical standards for your state you will find the answer.
600 deep for an open trench with marker tape above as you have stated is pretty standard and will most likely be correct but it depends if it's a shared trench and exactly where it is located.
I am chasing this up for Rural Customers, as it is becoming a more common event, as more people are looking to Earn an income out of Solar Faqrms.
There will only be Low Amp 240V AC feed and 100~800V DC running in the Conduit Trenches.
I will go & try a few different searches, but found the Australian Standards site want to be Paid hundreds of Dollars, for what should be FREE information for Safety information.

The depth of cover for underground electric cables and underground control cables should not be less than:
For open trench construction:
• 750mm below the surface of a roadway for any cable installed under a roadway
• 600mm below the finished ground surface for cables installed in other locations.
see Table 3: Standard cover and bedding requirements for conduits

Appreciate that, I will spend some time reading the information, although I am Not an Electrician, it will educate me more on the subject.
The Doc's should assist our Rural customers looking to build a Large On-grid Systems we supply equipment to.
We are finding many Rural people are looking to set up Solar Farms for a long term income.
